About Laura Zeisler ATR-BC, LCSW

Established in 1999, The Art Clinic utilizes art to help transform life’s paradox into humor, healing and well being. Laura Zeisler, the Executive Director, is a Registered Art Therapist (ATR-BC) and Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She has a Master Degree in art therapy from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago, IL. For 20 years she has been an art therapist-in-residence for hospice, schools, day treatment centers, and pediatric oncology units. She is an active and engaging speaker and frequently presents at national conferences and universities. She currently has a private practice in Asheville, NC. In addition, she re-enchants herself through meditation, kirtan chanting, and creating art in her studio. (She can also be found in the garden with her magic dog Chloe.)
